Eighteen holes on a dot grid. The die sets how far you hit, the ground under the ball changes it, and the whole world plays the same course and the same dice today.

How to play
- Each stroke goes in a straight line, one of eight directions, a whole number of spaces.
- The die sets the distance. Add a space from the fairway, take one away from sand.
- A one-space putt is always available, whatever the die says.
- The ball flies over water but cannot land in it, and only clears trees when the stroke starts on the fairway.
- You hole out by stopping on the cup, or by rolling one space past it. Two spaces past is a miss.
- Par is six on every hole, so a clean round is 108.

Questions
Is the course the same for everyone?
Yes. The course and the dice are both generated from today's date, so every player faces the same eighteen holes and the same rolls in the same order. The only variable is what you decide to do with them.
Do I need an account?
No. There is no sign-up, no login and no score stored anywhere. The round lives in the page while you play it and disappears when you close the tab.
Where does the game come from?
It is our own take on the pen-and-paper golf people have been drawing in notebooks for decades: a dot grid, a die and a pencil line. We wrote the rules, and every course is generated and checked by a solver so it can always be finished.
